Description
Eagerly anticipated by BC beer fans and brewers alike, the 3rd Annual British Columbia Beer Awards, sponsored by The Brewery Creek Liquor Store and in partnership with CAMRA BC, is set to return to our city to help launch BC Craft Beer Month on Saturday, October 13th, 2012.
One of the most focused beer events in Western Canada, the BC Beer Awards showcases and celebrates the very best of locally made beer. Open to the public, this one-day-only event will be held this year at the Chapel Arts and will include not only the awards ceremony itself, but also the
CAMRA Harvest Cask Festival. BC’s best breweries will be on hand, showcasing their talents and sampling cask beer full of Harvest flare. Think pumpkins, imperials, sours, fresh hops, earthy seasonals and full flavoured ales.
Food
2 of Vancouver’s hottest food carts will be on hand to satiate your appetite. Be sure to bring cash, as there is no ATM on site.
Special Details
Membership has its benefits, so be sure to bring your member card. All valid cardholders will receive a special token entitling them to the member’s only cask* (while supplies last). Not yet a member? Be sure to sign up here or in person at the event.
